Thanks for the heads-up. I have just made the corresponding changes in Gecko (see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1202993), so as of Firefox 43 we will support this interpretation of caption-side values. As we had already added the logical keywords as part of our vertical writing-mode support implementation, this means that we'll have a short period (Firefox 41 and 42) where those are supported, but I can't imagine this will matter much.
