Heya WG, we just finished off all the outstanding edits for the Display spec, including most of the WG resolutions from the last several months of meetings. (We haven't done the element-box-fragment edits yet.) Additional changes: * Defined blockification and inlinification of display types <http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-display/#transformations>, formerly CSS2.1 section 9.7. This seems to be the right place to put it. * Renamed 'display-box' to 'box-suppress' and added a "hide" value, which suppresses layout but still generates boxes for animation/counters/etc. We're open to better names. <http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-display/#box-suppress> * Did some editorial work on the 'display-*' properties. * Made a glossary of common, important terms that are currently buried in CSS 2.1 <http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-display/#glossary>. These will now auto-link in Bikeshed. * Folded in fantasai's run-in proposal (per WG resolution http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2014Feb/0053.html), and addressed bz's feedback as best we could <http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-display/#run-in> There are still some open issues, but we'd appreciate review of the above sections and would like to discuss these changes and publish an updated Working Draft on an upcoming call. ~TJ and fantasai
