I don't know why someone cared to write it in first place because it's not really helping the reader anyway. As a side note, I updated both MDN and WebPlatform.org, and send a comment to the MSDN library authors (but their doc was not really wrong, just unclear so even if they do not update that will do the trick). That will probably not fix all the blog posts out there on the matter, but we can dispose this thread, I think ;-)
