Maintaining a reasonable set of features that address real needs on
the platform, while keeping the amount of cruft to a minimum. Every
line in the browser is a testing and updating burden.  Small numbers
of users can be worthwhile if they have an important need and the
feature is the only way to address it, but if it's hardly ever used
and its lack can be worked around with relative ease, dropping it is
good for the platform as a whole.

Anyway, I agree with this change.
