http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-text/#letter-spacing # ‘normal’ # Specifies normal spacing between characters as defined by the # current font. Typically this is zero. No, default spacing between characters is determined by glyph advances. It's *not* zero. I think what you're trying to say is simply "No additional spacing is applied."
