The CSS WG has published a First Public Working Draft of the CSS Image Values and Replaced Content Module Level 4 http://www.w3.org/TR/css4-foo/ This module covers URL-referencing and gradient notations, and various properties for controlling replaced element sizing and image processing in CSS. Additions from Level 3 include * bidi-sensitive images * element() for reusing the image of an element * image-set() for negotiating multiple image sizes * conic-gradient() * cross-fade() * 'image-rendering' * Interpolation of images * Serialization of image notations **This is an early-stage Working Draft, and there are many open issues on these features.** Your feedback is welcome in improving the draft. Please send any comments to this mailing list, <www-style@w3.org>, and please, prefix the subject line with [css4-images] (as I did on this message).
