Drive-by correction (irrelevant to the larger thread) - CSSOM isn't a new spec by any stretch. It's many years old, but has been largely unmaintained during that time. It's recently been picked up by a fresh editor who is attempting to fix all these old bugs and align it with reality, though. ~TJ
