(Point (1) was addressed, but point (2) was not.) http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-multicol/#column-rule-color currently says: # Initial: same as for โcolorโ property [CSS21] I believe it should instead say: # Initial: currentColor as http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-background/#the-border-color does. It seems far better for column-rule-color to follow the current foreground color by default than to use the browser's default color by default. That's also at least what Gecko does. -David -- ๐ L.
