Hi all, I'm not on this list so please keep me in CC if you reply to this mail. I was going through the CSS3 fonts spec, looking at @font-face http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-fonts/#font-face-rule The spec lists the following fonts formats: "woff", "truetype", "opentype", "embedded-opentype", "svg". Shouldn't there be a normative (or at least informative) reference for each font type? Even if most of them may be easy to find, I think the spec should contain references to them anyway. OpenType is actually referenced by this spec, and WOFF spec contains some references. Anyway I think would be good to add a reference for each format in the plase were the format string is defined. What do people thing? Anyway, are these the right references? woff -> http://www.w3.org/TR/WOFF/ truetype -> http://developer.apple.com/fonts/TTRefMan/index.html opentype -> http://www.microsoft.com/typography/otspec/default.htm svg -> http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/fonts.html embedded-opentype -> http://www.w3.org/Submission/EOT/ Regards, /g -- Giuseppe Pascale TV & Connected Devices Opera Software
