It is identified by its URL, and that _can_ be in two different iframes at the same time, each with its own "rendering" of the document at different widths and scrolled (by the user, for instance) to different positions. One question is whether modifying one of the two copies causes the other one to be modified. If so, then a URI is not sufficient to identify copies. -Boris
