Hi Adam, CSS 2.1 already has counters: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/generate.html#counters These are generally well implemented. The GCPM module has various form of cross-references: http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-gcpm/#cross-references This however is not actively worked on. The module is more at the "idea" stage.
