Note: This use-case could probably solved by the new Paged Media drafts [1] [2], but since I haven't studied them much, thought I'd run it by you. An author recently contacted me on twitter [3] [4] with the use case [5] of having columns wrap vertically, similarly to the way they do so in paged media. After further discussion [6], it seems [7] that what he needs is a column-height property that would restrict the column height without restricting the height of the entire element. In my experience, his use case is fairly common, so adding something like that makes a lot of sense to me. However, it’s obviously redundant if Paged Media addresses this in a fairly simple manner.
