Dear CSS WG Chairs and group members,
The WOFF specification produce by the WebFonts WG is now a CR. The document contains two features that are marked as "at risk", one of them is default same-origin restriction for fonts that has recently been discussed by the CSS WG and added in the CSS3 Fonts module WD (also marked "at risk").
The WebFonts WG believes that having font loading behavior and same-origin restriction defined in the CSS Fonts module specification would be an ideal outcome for implementers, and would like to ask the CSS WG to allocate some time during the W3C TPAC for a joint meeting to discuss this particular aspect of the specification.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
On behalf of the WebFonts WG,
Vladimir Levantovsky,
WebFonts WG chair
