All, 2nd attempt since the first was filtered, likely on grounds of file size and/or type (a PDF is included).

Subject: [css3-lists] East Asian numbering list styles: corrections and proposals

My colleague Seiichi Kato has reviewed the CSS3 Lists working draft [1] and would like to submit the set of corrections enumerated in the attached document. They include:

1. An correction of the cjk-ideographic algorithm defined in section 4.2 [2] 2. Corrections to the codepoints defined for digit and marker codepoints for Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Chinese and Traditional Chinese (formal and informal) in sections 4.2

The document concludes with proposals for Hangul, Japanese Kanji and other East Asian list styles to be added to sections 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4. These list types are currently supported by Microsoft Office products on the desktop but are not standardized or supported by web browsers today.

All feedback welcome,
S.
