Hello, my name is Hajime Shiozawa. I've been trying to implement the css-ruby module in Mozilla [1]. >Right now in WebKit we simply don't support the display types at all. >One of the reasons for this is that there is behavior we support that can't be achieved just using the defined set of display types. I would like to ask you about the behavior WebKit supports. I would like to know specifically how display type gets changed. I think "display:ruby" should only have the role of being inline, not block and inline-block. >It doesn't feel right to me that "rubiness" should be lost just because the Ruby becomes block-level. I agree. Do you think that there is any case where user would like to use ruby-block by its own? Unfortunately, The ruby I have implemented behaves like an inline-block. At the moment, I haven't implemented with what you think ruby should be implemented.
