Tabbed layout is certainly an important issue to hash out (I use a tabbed layout in virtually every intranet tool I've ever produced), but is indeed separate from Template Layout. (Likely, people aren't talking about it because it's so *obviously* not something CSS can currently do, while simultaneously is so *easy* to do in javascript. Template layout is the opposite on both counts.) ~TJ
