The CSS WG published a new CR for Media Queries and thus we're asking
once again for implementations and implementation feedback.
http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/CR-css3-mediaqueries-20090423/
Compared to the last draft, there are no longer any media features
marked as "at risk" and some text has been clarified. No new features
were added.
The WG now plans to work on a test suite. Contributions are very
welcome. (Please, see http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/ for information
on tests.)
When the tests are ready and some implementations have been tested, the
specification should progress to W3C Recommendation, but not before
October 2009, to give sufficient time for feedback.
If you're interested in finding out what changed in the various versions
going back to 2002, you can see the aggregated list of all comments and
their resolutions at
http://www.w3.org/Style/css3-updates/css3-mediaqueries-comments
As usual, to send comments, please send them to this mailing list
<www-style@w3.org> and put
[css3-mediaqueries]
in the subject line, as I did on this message.
For the CSS WG,
Bert
