Have been patient and understanding for as long as possible as this unwinds.. But..... This thread is continuing to take a plunge in the direction that we have, as a Community, addressed in the past at W3C.. As a disability advocate/self-advocate who simultaneously, openly, fully does appreciate the concept of Free Speech, I cannot help but find statements such as the above offensive when applied consciously in direct relation to my adored extended family of persons of all disabilities.. As to images *not* helping with communication, it has regularly been *only* through accompanying imagery that these Fingertips have grasped the many wonderful concepts evolving here at the W3C.. I cannot possibly be a statistic of One in that instance.. As to having other Priorities, that is always one's perogative.. It is and/or should be a Free World to be able to do so.. What one will continue to increasingly encounter under the circumstances of placing Priorities is that others are simultaneously placing their own.. Among those Priorities for Persons of all Disabilities (PWDs) is to become more inclusive on the Internet such as that it is a social, cyber *Community*.. Each day that passes where PWDs are excluded from participating inclusively in that cyber Community with *everyone else*, they are becoming much more empowered to proudly Voice that they wish to be included.. Too..... Graciously, pro-actively providing multiple [formats], accompanying images being one example, will.... 1) Be a large stride towards Full Community Inclusion on behalf of and for one's Fellow Human..... 2) Help keep the noise in one's tech inquiry-focused inbox down to a lesser minimum..... ...as we All move forward with each, our own focused desire to ever improve the overall functionality of the World Wide Web..
