Media Queries - 6 June 2007 Does "color-index" have a zero value unless a lookup table is used? Example: My display is a 32bpp colour. Each pixel is defined by a single 32-bit value, containing 8 bits each of red, green, blue and transparency. There is no indirection through a lookup table. Therefore, the value of the "color" feature is 8, clearly. But what about "color-index"? Does it apply to this type of display device? Should its value be treated as 0 or 4294967296? -- Stewart Brodie Software Engineer ANT Software Limited
