Is that possible? Dilemma: It is relatively easy to republish a draft and it is good to publish it when there is interest, but it still represents a couple of hours of work (part of that by me) and as chair of the working group I prefer that people concentrate on the topics we identified as high priority. Otherwise nothing will ever finish... The WG is discussing systems for publishing sort of automated "nightly builds" from the editors' drafts without the overhead of publishing a Working Draft. The advantage is that people on www-style can then immediately see for themselves that the editor of a draft has indeed made a note of all issues raised. But: not all editors want their editing misstakez to be exposed; we need a way to make it very clear that those drafts-of-drafts are even more volatile than Working Drafts; the official W3C Technical Reports page will have less information about CSS; and when people comment on a draft, their link to it will probably be broken before anybody has time to react.
