The CSS WG published a new draft CSS3 module: Cascading and inheritance http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-css3-cascade-20051215/ The cascading and inheritance rules are fundamental to CSS and have been stable for a long time, but the module now contains an idea for allowing alternative style sheets to be specified in CSS itself. That functionality exists in XML and HTML (<link rel="alternate stylesheet">), and we are not yet sure if it is worth the effort to add it to CSS itself, so let us now... The preferred way for feedback is e-mail to this mailing list, with "[css-cascade]" in the subject line, as on this message.
