I don't know though when it will be implemented. BTW: I am really not MS IE-oriented - I use Konqueror. But, here is a case when I really support MS IE - 'inline-block' is a nice feature to have, and it's really required for exporting correct, nice-looking, easy-to-read HTML from modern Word Processors/DTP programs. | | I will continue using the other solutions since they work with all major | browsers, not just IE. I see no reason why to support MS in their | strategy. IMHO first they must implement all those missing HTML features | before they implement new features. what really needs an URGENT fix on MS side is FrontPage. Many stupid web developers use FrontPage, and this generates enermous amount of non-valid code uploaded to the web every day. Of course Macromedia and Adobe should fix thier tools as well. (to keep everything fare...) | IE6 still does not know what to do with HTML elements q and abbr, CSS | property quotes and property values open-quote and close-quote for | content-before / content-after property. | | So why should I already use CSS3 features that only work in IE, if even | HTML4 and CSS2, Recommendations from *1998*, do not work in IE6? | Good question, indeed :-) | | It is always the same with MS: New features everywhere, but no bug | fixing, no or no proper implementation of standards, no security and no | stability. | So let's hope MS will go out of business with that ugly strategy one day. :-) Seriously, I predict that MS will have serious problems already in 2004. | | Greetings | | Christian -- Vadim Plessky http://kde2.newmail.ru (English) 33 Window Decorations and 6 Widget Styles for KDE http://kde2.newmail.ru/kde_themes.html KDE mini-Themes http://kde2.newmail.ru/themes/
