I'll second Matthew's comments here.  Even with the smiley-face at the end, 
suggestions that discussions of W3C specs that have a rather critical 
bearing on the work of the rest of us should be held in private is pretty 
disturbing.

It doesn't go over well with anyone except W3C members, in my experience, 
and that's just not enough of the world.

Please remember that the existence of the W3C as a membership-based 
consortium does not render non-members uninterested or unworthy. If you 
want to get rid of the conspiracy theories, drop the practices which lead 
to their development.
