The way I've looked at it (which may be wrong) is that if no declarations in the author style sheet apply, the inherited value in the author style sheet is used and cascaded with the value from the user style sheet or UA default. On re-reading #1 of the cascading order a few times, I'm thinking that this interpretation is probably wrong. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP for Personal Privacy 5.0 Charset: noconv iQB1AwUBM9uXig/JhtXygIx1AQGjWQMAqSPH0L6l98DGVNKFFfHp9k0lTrCxEaLX VAJoG5ZdiBdqHYrVOOvxReiDd71oLiZRk+FdpKiS9uFE3YgcaupkaA5t3aw37UYf pzbDNCChH4Y8psUByXvGrU9lITbNdNcN =F4+5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Liam Quinn =============== http://www.htmlhelp.com/%7Eliam/ =============== Web Design Group Enhanced Designs, Web Site Development http://www.htmlhelp.com/ http://enhanced-designs.com/ ====== PGP Key at http://www.htmlhelp.com/%7Eliam/pgp.html =====
