Hi there, I have a font problem I need help with. I¹m in an educational setting where there is a dual platform situation. Windows 95 and Macintosh are pretty much spread around the large district where I am. There is an accepted application of ClarisWorks 4.0 which has been set as the app of acceptance. Teachers and students are supposed to try to use the app so that anything created can be shared over the platforms ...as ClarisWorks is installed on both platforms. The dilemma is this..... the font TIMES on the Mac side is not totally compatible with the TIMES ROMAN font on the 95 side. Anything created on the Mac side with TIMES is slightly bigger when viewed with the TIMES ROMAN on the 95 side. MANY users are going with TIMES because it is a customary font, and most of the sharing to be done has to come from the Mac side, be seen in the 95 side, be able to be edited, then go back to the Mac side. (confused yet?) OK, OK cut to the chase..... I need a Windows 95 font compatible to the Mac TIMES font. At this point in the game, there is not an option to change fonts on the Mac side due to too much ³politics² .... yet if I can come up with a 100% compatible font for the Windows 95 side it sure would eliminate all the fuss. Can you help?
