As Institute Director, a major responsibility will be to identify and progress strategic opportunities and alliances for the Institute in line with current and emerging University strategies, staff expertise, and developments and trends in the wider education and technology environment. You will have had previous senior experience in a large, complex organisation and have worked in a research and development environment. You should have a national profile (at least) in a relevant field and a commitment to participative management and team-based working. The Institute is a long-standing Investor in People and has a strong development ethos and team-based structure. The appointment is for an initial three-year fixed term converting subsequently to a two-year rolling contract, or may be offered on a secondment basis.
