The program that was announced in the W3C Note "Describing and retrieving photos using RDF and HTTP" (http://www.w3.org/TR/photo-rdf) is now available for download: http://jigsaw.w3.org/rdfpic The program helps to manage collections of JPEG images: it presents the images and allows the user to create or change the descriptions, which are stored in RDF inside the image. The Jigsaw Web server also understands this format. The program is called "rdfpic" and is written in Java. Binaries and source are available under the usual W3C open source license. Contributions and feedback are welcome. Thanks go to Thierry Kormann for version 1 and Eamon Nerbonne for this version. Bert PS. For examples of the resulting JPEG and RDF, see http://jigsaw.w3.org/Yves/Australia http://jigsaw.w3.org/Bert/Provence/0003/ -- Bert Bos ( W 3 C ) http://www.w3.org/ http://www.w3.org/people/bos/ W3C/INRIA bert@w3.org 2004 Rt des Lucioles / BP 93 +33 (0)4 92 38 76 92 06902 Sophia Antipolis Cedex, France
