A question

I'm going to ask this question here, instead of on the "calsify" list. It's 
pertinent to both, but more apropos here.

I realize the RDF calendar group has done a lot to make RDFiCalendar work, 
but what I want to ask is this: IF you had to design a calendar for the 
Semantic Web from first principles, how would that design look? What would 
be different? Would you continue to use RDF or would you invent something 
more directly calendar-oriented?
