W3C's XML QUERY

The long-awaited (...) W3C's working group on XML Query is going
to kick off soon.
This is a preliminary announcement and "heads up": due to various
time constraints, we plan to have the first face-to-face meeting
of XML Query very soon: the 15TH AND 16TH OF SEPTEMBER.

So, this is a warning for those of you interested in joining the
working group and participating to the first meeting, so that
you can schedule the trip in advance on your calendar.

**** FOR W3C MEMBERS:
Details on the location, logistics and more info are available for
W3C members on the web at http://www.w3.org/1999/09/ql/meeting
W3C members can also check the original announcement at
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-ac-members/1999JulSep/0012.html

**** FOR NON W3C MEMBERS:
Participation in a W3C working group is limited only to W3C members,
and exceptionally to invited experts. If you have the expertize, feel
that the working group would benefit from your contribution, and
can commit an adequate amount of time, please send a request to
me (massimo@w3.org), with your contact data, and background
information on you. Note that the wg can accept only a very limited
number of invited experts. And, note that feedback to the working
group can be given at any time even without an "invited expert"
status, since the wg will periodically make public working drafts
for external review and comments.
