Since I took these minutes, I will try to answer. First, there was the idea of creating an appendix that would contain the GPs that seemed to be related to workflow and possibly a GP to cover the WCAG concerns - that is, a GP that said something like, Address accessibility, I18N, device independence, security when writing a specification. Rather than an appendix, we may want a section 3, (after the Guidelines) called Beyond Conformance. This section would contain the GPs that pertain to items that are part of creating good quality specifications, but don't have much to do with conformance - specifically, many of the GP in Section 5 Quality Control >5GP A, B is workflow. >5GP D, E could fit in chapter 3, if rewritten. >4.2GPA need for optional feature reword as use optional features as warranted. >Link 2.1B to 5C. > >ACTION: Move to appendix. Reformat perhaps more textual, rename so there >are no good practices. Label as informative. Karl > >My comment: Move what to appendix? I think it's > 5 GP A > 5 GP B Yes. >There's something which says "Link 2.1B to 5 GP C", BUT there's nothing >which says what 5 GP C goes. Into the appendix too? 5 GP C is related to 2.1B since writing sample code can be a way to illustrate by example. 5 GP C also should be moved somewhere in Section 2 (I think). It doesn't get moved to the appendix, since it isn't workflow related. >Where must be the appendix? If I look at other specification, it seems >they put it at the end of the document. Yes, it would be a new section or new appendix at the end of the document. It would be Informative text and contain no requirements. --lynne
