Minutes:

1.) Roll call (see above)

2.)

- June f2f

[Double-check for attendance to next f2f]

- Report from WWW2004 conference.

 KD thanks DM for panel/presentation.

[ There is some discussion about the presentation ]

DM: advisory board on Tue. made some headway on licensing issue. There is a
report - one slide shows a proposal concerning IP of test cases.

LR: It was very short mention + some discussion

MS: I was disappointed by the number of people who showed up & most were W3C
people.
I think we agree that this material has wider applicability

KD: I agree. Even so it was good.

MS: The schedule was a problem. Room was hard to find. Need to be proactive
about accessibility
DM: Agree

3.) TestGL status report

 [ Presented by Dimitris ]

DD Is to take ownership of TestGL - this was decided at an informal meeting
last week (in place of the normal telcon) [1]. The latest edition of the
document that DD will be working from is the 25 February 2004 draft [2].

DD explained his plans for each of the sections in turn. Due to the limited
time and effort available some sections will remain unchanged in the next
draft, others will be changed In the next release:

Section 2.1 will stay the same. The subsequent draft will expand on the six
types of testing that have been identified.

2.2 Development Strategies - there is no time to develop this until the next
draft

2.3 Test Assertions - This must be synchronized with the SpecGL draft since
there is significant overlap here.

GL 1 Testing Strategies - The 3 checkpoints will be extended , mainly the
Discussion sections.

GL 2 Testable Assertions - Work on this is postponed until the next draft
(dependency with SpecGL is noted).

GL 3 Metadata - this material will be expanded.

GL 4 Execution Process - This will not be worked on until the next draft.

GL 6 - Reporting Mechanisms - This will not be worked on until the next
draft.

So of the 8 sections, DD can work on 4: 2.1, 3.1, 3.3 and 3.5.

DD asked for feedback on this work.

LR explained how she worked on SpecGL - asking a few people to look at
specific sections e.g. KD reviewed examples, LH wrote some parts. Suggests DD
adopts a similar approach.

DD plans to release a new draft on Friday (28 May 2004). Ideally he would
like QAWG to read through it and send comments for the following Monday.

KD thought that synchronisation of the TestGL and SpecGL would be possible in
the time available.

LR pointed out that document synch. is not too important at this stage and
that we can leave it until later.

 4. AOB )

 - Next Telecon.

KD suggested that we reschedule the next telcon to Wednesday 2 June to avoid
a public holiday on Monday 31 May in USA (and UK too).

 - SpecGL status

LR plans to complete the current work on SpecGL by Wednesday this week (26
May 2004)

 - October f2f

AT confirmed that The Open Group are happy to host the October meeting in
Reading, UK

MS requested that the final week of October be chosen: e.g. 25 - 29 Oct.
No one else mentioned any other constraints so we will aim for that week if
possible.
[ LH sent AT his constraints by email - he is away 22-25 so could possibly
do 27-29, also 21-23 Oct is free ]

At the June f2f there will be a discussion on who else could be invited to
the October f2f. Maybe some UK/EU contacts - especially if we can get a
specific agenda.

 Meeting adjourned 11:40 EDT
