Additions/corrections welcome (before CoB Friday)... QA Working Group Teleconference Monday, 10-May-2004 -- Scribe: Lofton Henderson Attendees: (KD) Karl Dubost (W3C, WG co-chair) (DH) Dominique Hazaƫl-Massieux (W3C) (LH) Lofton Henderson (CGMO - WG co-chair) (LR) Lynne Rosenthal (NIST - IG co-chair) (DM) David Marston Regrets: (PC) Patrick Curran (Sun Microsystems) (DD) Dimitris Dimitriadis (Ontologicon) (MS) Mark Skall (NIST) (VV) Vanitha Venkatraman (Sun Microsystems) Absent: (AT) Andrew Thackrah (Open Group) Summary of New Action Items: no new AIs. Agenda: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-qa-wg/2004May/0019.html Previous Telcon Minutes: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-qa-wg/2004May/0016.html Minutes: * Roll call * Routine business Future meetings: Because of the AC Meeting, the 5/17 telecon is officially cancelled as a QAWG telecon. However, LH, PC, DD, DM are available and encouraged to meet and discuss a TestGL publication plan. The October f2f is tentatively at Open Group near London, but Lynne hasn't heard from Andrew for a while. Lofton Action Item to ping him about hosting. Lofton will miss the 5/24 telecon, Karl will lead. * QAF status & schedules: QAH is done but for a QAPD (Lofton wants to put at least a placeholder on /Test/.) TestGL status/schedule will be updated by Patrick by email. SpecGL: Lynne said 5/24 wouldn't be possible for publication of SpecLite FPWD -- too much to do. After some discussion and assignments, we agreed that we could and should publish an incomplete version on 5/26. We will finish out several sections like Extensibility to a reasonable level of completion, and will green-box the others with notes like, "Completion of this section TBD. In outline form, its content will be as follows. It will be fleshed out and completed in the next draft similar to Extensibility in this draft. It will draw on, but condense and simplify, material from @@the appropriate sections of OpsGL@@." A few more details: (LR) Looking for owners/volunteers to help with remaining section. E.g., haven't touched "First things first" or "Specifying Conformance". (KD) Agrees to take ownership of Extensibility now, completing and especially working on examples. (LH) Agrees to help late this week and some during next week, TBD which subjects or spec sections TBD to work on. (DH) Agrees to extract CR SpecGL stuff about DoV as external appendix to FPWD SpecLite, an "advanced topic". (all) Discussed and agreed that DoV should be expanded with examples, potential strategies (e.g., past DM stuff that was deemed inappropriate for normative requirements in CR SpecGL), etc. Should become a WG Note ("white paper"). (DH) Agrees to update guideline.css so that Principle/Good Practice styling is in there instead of the head of each document. (all) Lynne has done a terrific job with SpecLite so far [1].
