I am aware that the Free Software Foundation (FSF) is not happy with Section 3 of the W3C's proposed patent policy. As far as I can see the concerns of the FSF are identical with those of the general public in this case. Please do all you can to keep the Internet free and useful. It is well known that the Internet is widely based on non-commercial research and development. This is why it is open and useful.
