I believe that the exclusive use of a "royalty-free" (RF) licensing model is in the best interests of the Internet community. I think we were nice to let commercialism onto the web, but look what it has brought us!!!!! Pop-ups, advertising, and an idea that advertising needs to empower the Internet (That it is the only way to generate cash for content! Bullocks!) Content protection, DMCA, RIAA, MPAA, SSSwhateverthehellitis, etc, etc... Isn't there a way that we can just get these people OFF of our FREE internet? How about this? Instead of us needing to forge on to create (once again) our own Internet that is away from commercialism, patents, etc, why don't we just make THEM leave instead? Maybe you guys that are "patent holders" could go with them? :-) Maybe you would rather sell-out now though eh? Maybe you could GO with them, THEN sell out after you guys have left? It would make it a lot easier on everybody. I fogot though, you guys sold out to them a LONG time ago. Now where did the keys to my brand-new jeep go? Thanks, Steve PS See you in the chat rooms soon. I am taking down your link on my website tonight. Sleep well and stop selling out.
