Dear W3C Patent Policy Working Group: I'm very concerned about the recent Patent Policy Framework draft, which could allow W3C members to charge royalty fees for technologies included in web standards. Such idiotic steps will hinder or destroy the WWW and ruin your authority. Take a deep breath, think again, and stick to your prior course. Kind regards Martin Veise SurfRay A/S Frederiksberggade 26, 2nd floor DK-1459 Copenhagen K DENMARK Phone: +45 70 250 250 Fax: +45 70 260 480 Mobile: +45 26 85 33 00 www.surfray.com <http://www.surfray.com> veise@surfray.com The information in this email is confidential and may be legally priviliged.
