To whom it may concern, I am emailing to voice my concern and stern disagreement with your proposed implementation of charging monies for the use of common web standards. To do so would undermine what little ground we have finally gained in the movement to move toward open standards, allowing for more opportunity for all. If you implement this 'royalty', you will alienate a development community that will gladly dump your standards in favor of something free, and throw their support behind opposing efforts - so choose your actions carefully. Thank you for your ear, and I hope that you consider my thoughts. thank you. Jeremy Conn 14927 SW Millikan Way-Apt. 633 Beaverton, OR 97006 Phone: 503.605.1443 Email: jeremy@conncreativemedia.com
