This idea is outrageous patent on pictures and other media on the world wide web. The first, thing that comes to mind is are you people nuts or just plain idealistic you want to be the Microsoft of the web and do you want that hanging over your heads. This idea is going to backfire like when napster closed the music industry though it had won but, look at whats out there now 12-15 peer to peer programs for not just music but, videos, and pictures. This idea is insane the pictures submitted by the people whether it be .gir or .avi if the artist puts it on the web it's public information for all to read and learn on he web the web is a mall, libary, and many other things that goes on and on. Patent's are not one of them. look at these patent's they are stopping people from learning and making creative discovery for themselves and also half the patent's you issue are for people who said maybe somebody will make this and I will get money for this. These people like you fall under the catorgy of people who stop ideas form appearing. God forbid if a meteor stroke earth and somebody had a invention to stop the meteor and somebody had this patent and the inventor could not pay guess what. So please do something worthwhile like helping America through this time of crisis we must come together and not be split apart.God bless america.Get more from the Web.
