We meet on Thursday at: 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern, 7pm Central European Time. The regulars for this group should have the meeting details in their calendars. For everyone else, the details can be found on the members-only W3C Math WG calendar <https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/d6f2b73d-34fc-4276-b164-bdc62a675dcc/20230713T130000/> . I'm back and I believe Deyan is back, so hopefully we can tackle items #3 and #4 and resolve them as I believe they cover the last significant remaining issue for MathML 4. Agenda 1. Announcements/Updates/Progress reports Charter status mfenced clarification 2. #181 MathML 4 extensions for alignment and possible deprecation of <maligngroup/> and <malignmark/> <https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/181> Update from David about css properties 3. Progress on spec-writing? intent grammar change 4. #449: Intent Properties: ordering & references <https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/449> 5. Review of Unicode character names <https://w3c.github.io/mathml-docs/unicode-speech/>, with emphasis on literal vs semantic names Note: MathCAT *currently *only has literal names for - ! (bang! or exclamation mark depending on verbosity) - | vertical line - · dot (instead of "times") - ∥ double vertical line (but none for ∦) There are also rules that force speaking parens that might otherwise be elided and not saying "times" for invisible times.
