Hi, In a project I was a part of a few years ago, we had need for communication of sparse matrices. We went for the pure OpenMath approach, i.e. both the producer (of the sparse matrices) and the consumer were speaking OpenMath, both using the same Content dictionary (we only needed one!): http://www.cs.bath.ac.uk/~wn/OpenMath/GENSS/html/cd/linalg6.html In our case there was no need to translate to or from MathML (for presentation), though I'm sure xslt stylesheets for that could be written. Of course the csymbol or definition URL approach could be used refering to the above CD if considered necessary, cheers, Bill -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* - - Dr. W.A.
