The new version V5.2.5 of precompiled libwww for Win32 is just launched. As usual, it could be accessed through http://www.idm.ru/libwww.htm as installation and as binaries. This version includes samples from http://www.w3.org/Library/Examples/ as well. However, the eventloop and tiny browser still don't take user input. The Linemode Browser is absent in this version. The problems with the MSVCRT.DLL is solved - it was due to the 'Multithread DLL' option in all projects. Now it is changed to 'Multithread'. It leads to some problems in WinCom, that were solved as follows: 1. WinCom was compiled with 'Use MFC in a Static Library' option 2. All strings in wincom.rc (resource.h) with values 6xxxx were changed to 4xxxx to avoid problems with AFX_ strings. Please note, that because of these changes the size of installation and binaries now increased in approx. three times (all MSVC staff now is linked statically), but it should be independent from MSVC DLLs now - please inform me if it is not true!!!
