Opportunities to review W3C documents [I18N-ACTION-216]

Hello www-international@,

Periodically I send a note to the list reminding you that there is an opportunity to review W3C specifications for internationalization considerations. This is important work. The W3C produces many documents each year and you, the I18N community, can help ensure that these specs receive the attention they need to make the World Wide Web truly global.

Owing to changes in the W3C process, the list of specifications awaiting review by I18N is now split into several parts. Specifications with a specific due date or review request are in the first group. "First public" drafts are in the second. Unless a working group has specifically requested a review or a WG member has taken specific interest, many of the specifications in the second list may not receive any I18N review unless you act.

The list of specifications is on our Review Radar: https://www.w3.org/International/wiki/Review_radar

Instructions for performing reviews are here: http://www.w3.org/International/reviews/review-instructions

If the spec you are reviewing needs a Tracker product, please write to me individually. Please note that review comments are reviewed by the I18N WG before being forwarded to the host working group. You may also submit comments via email on this list (please: one issue per email): this is the most common way to submit comments if you do not have a W3C login.

Thank you for your support!

Regards (for I18N),

Addison

Internationalization is not a feature.
It is an architecture.
