Hi Anne, One of the remaining open items on Encoding is bug 26154 [1]. In trying to close down our issues for Encoding, the WG is trying to figure out what the status of this item should be. The bug itself is blocked by a Webapps/IDL bug [2] that has a status of NEW (and extensive commentary without seeming to reach closure). Can you clarify: (1) if you think this item is deferrable for the future/should be deferred (2) if not deferred/deferrable, when you might be able to address it Thanks (for I18N), Addison [1] https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26154 [2] https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23369 Addison Phillips Globalization Architect (Amazon Lab126) Chair (W3C I18N WG) Internationalization is not a feature. It is an architecture.
