As a contribution to the Firefox/Feature Brainstorming http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Feature_Brainstorming:Internationalization I proposed a "variant button". The main intention is to use it as a language button. "The scenarios is that users accessing a URI will see the variant button enable [in the browser] if there are multiple variants. Pressing the variant button will show the human friendly variant list.
