although it is slightly off topic. there was a designer contest here (shikoku, japan) and one `object` was a panel with icons that were supposed to represent `modern life`. i was surprised to see that some that could make sense in japan seemed totally weird in a french context or could be taken with a totally different meaning. i`ll try to find the panel and describe the icon and their meaning if you are interested.
