How about using N3? For example:

<div
   id="titanic"
   properties="label:hasClassification age:twelve; foo:duration bar:015">
   <span property="dc:title" class="title">Titanic</span>
   <a href="titanic.mov">See the movie</a>
</div>

The syntax would be that of N3, starting at rule "propertylist":
