WHAT?!! You are now saying that there is no such thing as an HTML-compatible XHTML 1.0 document? Am I reading that right? So are you saying that <br /> is not HTML-compatible? It's an empty element, as it *could* be represented in XML, yet is also HTML-compatible. -Pete
