Re: <hr> images

Someone mentioned including a "method of scaling" item to images used
as <hr>s.  That sounds like a very good idea, quite in-line with the
HTML theme of portability.  When designing <hr> images the author
hasn't the faintest clue how wide the end user's screen size is and
this appears to be a good solution to that problem.  No immediate
problems come to mind.

I can't help but wonder if this might also be useful for <img> tags (if
the software was going to handle it anyway), but I can't currently
imagine a use for it in <img>s, just <hr>s.
