Can someone please help me clear my confusion? I've read this thread to mean that XHTML is keeping the A NAME attribute as being of type CDATA, but the actual DTD at http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/xhtml1-19990505/DTD/transitional.dtd says it is of type ID, and the ID attribute is of type NMTOKEN. Lauren
