Discussing changes with me first is great, but
if I don't seem to be available, go ahead and
check in changes. For now, please notify me
by email when you check in a change we haven't
discussed. Eventually, I hope CVS logs will
suffice as notification, but let's start a little
bit slowly.

I shall try to be more careful about undocumented assumptions
and such. The README.html is wildly out of date, for
one thing.

I like to have doctest style tests for as much of the
code as we can.

Hmm... why am I telling you in email rather than
telling the whole world by writing in cvs/http space...
if I have further "developer contract" thoughts,
I'll try to put them in the source...
