Hi Irčne, When an author uses a soft hyphen in a word, it is not the author that creates a line break, it is (or should be) automatically done by the software. Amaya 8.53 (and a couple of previous versions) does not create a line break. Thus the bug. Hard hyphen never (or should never) creates a line break. To quote the HTML Spec: "The plain hyphen should be interpreted by a user agent as just another character. The soft hyphen tells the user agent where a line break can occur."
